Venue: Ogi Shopping Street

Ogi, home of EC, has a quaint historical townscape that dates back to its days prospering as a port of call for Kitamae-bune merchant ships, and a gold and silver shipping port. In 2014, the town’s merchants held a market event to commemorate the 400th anniversary of the opening of Ogi Port—Ogi Fan Fair, named after the main street’s curved fan shape. They’ve held it twice a year ever since, and this is the market’s 10th year. Earth Celebration Fair is a special version of the regular Fan Fair.
